These extraordinary falls are formed by the extreme tidal movements between the Indian Ocean and the shallow lagoons of the Buccaneer Archipelago.

Your journey begins at Derby Airport, where one of our skilled pilots will take you on a breathtaking helicopter flight to the Falls. Along the way, you'll marvel at the unique patterns in the Derby mudflats, shaped by some of the world’s largest tidal ranges, and the rugged beauty of the Kimbolton Ranges.

As you approach the Horizontal Falls, you'll fly low and slow, providing the perfect opportunity to capture stunning photos of both the wide and narrow gaps, where the powerful tides force their way through to the Inland Sea.
