The Experience

From May to early August, Augusta becomes a natural resting point along the whale migration.

Humpback whales pass close to shore, often breaching and playing, while Southern Right whales can be seen resting calmly in the bay—sometimes with calves.

Every day is different, but that’s what makes it real.

You may also encounter dolphins, New Zealand fur seals, and a variety of seabirds throughout your journey.

• Departure Times: 10:00am & 2:00pm (weather dependent)

• Departure Point: Augusta Boat Harbour, Leeuwin Road
• Check-in: Please arrive 20 minutes prior

Whale watching is a wild, natural experience, and while sightings are very common, they can never be guaranteed.
