Itinerary

Day 1 | Drive Day, Caves and Introduction to the South West of Western Australia

Departing Perth, we'll hit the road with our sights set on Giants Cave for our first adventure. We'll make a pit stop at the Old Coast Rd Brewery for a delicious lunch to charge us ready to tackle the weekend ahead! After our caving experience, we'll check in to our accommodation in Margaret River and freshen up before dinner at The Common Bar & Bistro.

Day 2 | SUPs, Kayaking & Black Brewing Co

After a deliciously cooked breakfast, we’ll head to the coast for a stand up paddle (SUP) session in Gnarabup bay! This region features some of the most pristine waters! During your SUP session, you will experience the reefs, wildlife and the unbelievable beauty of the area from the ocean’s perspective. Stand-up Paddling allows a unique perspective as you can look down to see through the clear waters of Gnarabup Bay. If the wind is up, we'll paddle the Margaret River and discover the caves of Whalcliffe house!

From Gnarabup, we’ll head to a local Brewery for a tasty lunch! We will relax, unwind then recharge ready for our afternoon chill session kayaking down the Blackwood River! The Blackwood River is one of Western Australia’s premier kayaking locations and is surrounded by beautiful untouched scenery and wildlife. Paddling the river whilst surrounded by the national park is so peaceful and stunningly beautiful that you often find yourself slipping into a meditative state. It is one of Margaret River’s hidden gems and is definitely a ‘must-do’ experience when visiting the region.

Day 3 | Cape to Cape Delight & Brewhouse finale

After a good nights sleep and another delicious OTBT breakfast, we’ll check out, pop on the hiking boots and hit the trails for a morning hike along the Cape to Cape track! Today's adventure will begin at Ellensbrook Homestead, which is a beautiful heritage listed home surrounded by National Park. The Cape to Cape walk trail leads you to an awesome grotto and the delightful Meekadarbee Falls then Ellensbrook campsite. From the campsite, you’ll tackle a long slow hill which leads you to an undulating dirt track that takes you through scrubland with a series of switchbacks. Eventually you will arrive at Joey’s Nose and the beautiful Kilcarnup Beach. At the end of the beach you follow the sand dunes up through some scrubland to Horseshoe Bay – our favourite part of the entire Cape to Cape!

Finishing our hike at the Margaret River Mouth, we’ll head to another local brewery for lunch before we hit the road back to Perth. You'll feel refreshed and ready to tackle the new week with plenty of amazing memories and stories to tell!
