Dwellingup | Hike, Wine & Dine Experience
- Duration: 9 Hours (approx.)
- Location: WA
- Product code: PRVJUD
Be totally immersed in the lush jarrah forest as you enjoy the tranquil sounds of the Murray River cascading down stream before enjoying a gourmet grazing board with cider at The Wine Tree Cidery in the small quaint trail town, Dwellingup.
We will meander through the old growth forest and admire some of the 500 species of flora that take home in Lane Poole Reserve. Tracing the steps of the old timber railway will lead us past hidden cascades, gorgeous moss covered granite outcrops and down to the Murray River. As we wander through the undulating woodlands we'll be totally in awe of the lush Jarrah forest which will lead us to the mighty 250+ year old King Jarrah Tree!
After working up an appetite on our hike through Lane Poole Reserve, we’ll head to the delightful Wine Tree Cidery in the beautiful Holyoake Valley. Here we’ll enjoy a gourmet grazing board complete with WA award winning local products such as Dellendale Creamery Cheese, Margaret River Farmhouse cured meats, dips, pickles, olives, pork pie, scotch egg, fresh crusty bread, dried fruit and more. To accompany your grazing experience, you’ll enjoy one of the Wine Tree Cidery’s small batch wines or ciders which are sure to delight your senses. If wine or cider isn’t your thing, you are welcome to try the Wine Tree Cidery’s own ginger beer or a tasty hot coffee.
The lush Jarrah Forrest, hidden cascades and wooden bridges, breathtaking scenery of the Murray River, and amazing valley views are just some of the features of our 11km hike.
